Mitsubishi paint codes - Location

As with most car manufacturers Mitsubishi paint codes can be found in several locations. Most often Mitsubishi paint codes are found on your chassis plate in the door shut of the vehicle. They also can be located in the engine bay or on the underside of the raised bonnet. The colour code is usually a 3 DIGIT format LETTER NUMBER NUMBER

The paint code format is usually LETTER NUMBER NUMBER, The code in the above image is A19 for soprano silver. It close to the word "EXT", this stands for exterior colour. The first 3 digits are you colour code.

We recommend always confirming the colour code on the vehicle prior to ordering. This is by far the most reliable way to ensure the right colour is ordered.

If you cannot locate your paint code on the vehicle the next best alternative is to contact a local Mitsubishi dealer parts / service department with your registration / VIN number. They will be able to confirm your colour from the relevant manufacturer database. (Alas only dealers have access to this system)
