Mazda paint codes - Location

As with most car manufacturers Mazda paint codes can be found in several locations. Most often Mazda paint codes are found on your chassis plate under the bonnet at the rear of the engine bay. They also can be located in the door shut on the chassis plate.

Since around 2004 later models will not always have a paint code put on the vehicle. The only option is to contact a local mazda dealer to obtain your paint code, they will require your Registration / Chassis number so have this available. The paint code in the image below is 22V SUNLIGHT SILVER.

We recommend always confirming the colour code on the vehicle prior to ordering where possible. This is by far the most reliable way to ensure the right colour is ordered.

If you cannot locate your paint code on the vehicle the next best alternative is to contact a local Mazda dealer parts / service department with your registration / VIN number. They will be able to confirm your colour from the relevant manufacturer database. (Alas only dealers have access to this system)
