Land Rover paint codes - Location

As with most car manufacturers Land Rover paint codes can be found in several locations. The most reliable location is on your chassis plate in the door shut of the vehicle. They also can be located under the bonnet again on the chassis plate. The colour code is usually a 3 DIGIT format and can but will not always be preceeded by "LRC" ( Land rover company )

The paint code on your vehicle can be in either the three number or 3 letter format, both codes relate to the same identical colour. The number code is usually preceeded by "LRC". The above vehicles paintcode is 909 Alaska white but this vehicle could also be coded "NCL" for the exact same colour.

We recommend always confirming the colour code on the vehicle prior to ordering. This is by far the most reliable way to ensure the right colour is ordered.

If you cannot locate your paint code on the vehicle the next best alternative is to contact a local Land Rover dealer parts / service department with your registration / VIN number. They will be able to confirm your colour from the relevant manufacturer database. (Alas only dealers have access to this system)
