Jaguar paint codes - Location

As with most car manufacturers Jaguar paint codes can be found in several locations. The most reliable place for the Jaguar paint code is in the door shut of the vehicle usually at the very base of the central pillar (B-Post)

The also can be located under the bonnet again on the chassis plate. The colour code is a 3 LETTER format (PED in this image)

The paint code in this image is "PED" for the colour Anthracite. The code will be located to the bottom of the chassis plate near to the word "PAINT"

We recommend always confirming the colour code on the vehicle prior to ordering. This is by far the most reliable way to ensure the right colour is ordered.

If you cannot locate your paint code on the vehicle the next best alternative is to contact a local Jaguar dealer parts / service department with your registration / VIN number. They will be able to confirm your colour from the relevant manufacturer database. (Alas only dealers have access to this system)
