Audi paint codes - Location

As with most car manufacturers Audi paint codes can be found in several locations. The most reliable location is in the boot on a white sticker, you will need to remove the carpet section from the floor of the vehicle. The information sticker should be found on the floor or in the tyre well section of the boot area.

This is the most popular location for you paint information but a copy of this sticker can also usually be found towards the front of the service book. ( usually found in the glovebox - This was introduced for later models).

The paint code in this image is LY9K or Y9K Amalfi White. The code can be stated with or without the "L" both relate to the same identical colour.

We recommend always confirming the colour code on the vehicle prior to ordering. This is by far the most reliable way to ensure the right colour is ordered.

If you cannot locate your paint code on the vehicle the next best alternative is to contact a local Audi dealer parts / service department with your registration / VIN number. They will be able to confirm your colour from the relevant manufacturer database. (Alas only dealers have access to this system)
